The Manhattans – Forever By Your Side

The Manhattans are a popular R&B vocal group with a string of hit records over three decades, but best known for their million-selling songs ‘Kiss and Say Goodbye’ and ‘Shining Star’ in 1976 and 1980, respectively. Under the leadership of Winfred “Blue” Lovett (who also composed some of the group’s biggest hits), the Manhattans survived as a viable chart act well into the ’80s, over two decades after their formation.

In 1983 The Manhattans scored their last major hit “Crazy” (US #72, R&B #4, UK #63) from the album ‘˜Forever by your side’. This album was never reissued and still on many of your wantlists. Finally after so many years available on CD!
